Development of the Supplier Code of Conduct

Our Supplier Code of Conduct has been developed as part of our broader strategy to promote ethical business practices and to foster responsible relationships with our supply chain. Our goal is to cultivate a supply chain of like-minded organizations that want to change how we do business for the better, creating people, planet, and profit equity. We believe collaboration and education are key to tackling our challenges. Therefore, we invite all stakeholders to engage with us to develop best practices, reduce risk, and find innovative solutions to our shared problems.  As we progress on our journey, we will keep this Supplier Code of Conduct under review and our communication with suppliers open to build the future together.

Our double materiality assessment

We've conducted a double materiality assessment following the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). In this report, we describe how Eficode has identified actual and potential negative and positive impacts on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics concerning the environment and people, including impacts on human rights, as well as financial risks and opportunities arising from sustainability matters across our operations and business relationships.

Our responsibility to act against climate change

We’ve calculated our climate impact according to The Greenhouse Gas Protocol (generally referred to as GHG protocol) guidelines, one of the world's most used greenhouse gas accounting standards. GHG offers a framework for measuring and managing emissions from operations, value chains, products, and strategies. Our impact is reported against Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Our commitment to science-based net-zero

We’re committed to setting near and long-term company-wide emission reduction targets in line with science-based net-zero with the SBTi (Science-Based Target initiative).

Our culture is founded on the belief that our Eficodeans are our most precious asset. We want to provide a safe, inclusive, and professional work environment where everyone can develop and build their careers.

Outside of Eficode, our responsibility program is committed to developing business relationships that ensure people are treated with dignity and respect and always in accordance with applicable labour and other relevant laws.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are inherently something we strive to foster within our walls and the wider community, and we’re focused on reducing inequalities, supporting access to digital education, and socially meaningful digital advancements.

Sustainability reporting

Our historic sustainability reports provide an overview of our past and ongoing sustainability initiatives and achievements. We share these reports with our readers to celebrate our colleagues who make these impactful contributions.

Behind every initiative are the Eficodeans who invested in developing inclusiveness and equality, supporting digital education, and promoting greener business operations.

As we move forward, we align our reporting period to our financial year (July-June) and adopt a reporting style that better serves our stakeholders. We aim to report all information and progress updates in real time via this platform.
